Risks in high-bay warehouses: working without a helmet
One of the major risks in high-bay warehouses is material falling from a height. The most likely risk is that a relatively light material, perhaps a few hundred grams of bolt, will fall off the shelf. However, if the bolt falling from a height of 10 meters hits the employee’s head, it can cause serious injury, unless the employee is wearing a hard helmet.
Thanks to the Event Gates Visor PPE control feature, if employees without a helmet enter the restricted area, the alarm activates and warns the employee with sound and light. In addition, recording the violation makes an important contribution to the discipline of PPE.
